Korean-born artist Si Jae Byun addresses the relationship of nature and architecture in a series of works in Artisphere that juxtapose images and structures associated with the construction of a city apartment with those of nature and even the human body. The entrance to the Dome is home to the work Clock Crane (2012), a crane that functions as a clock and white house (2011) a small housing structure, while Co-Habit (2011), a video associated with the work loops on the Town Hall Video Wall. Byun has won numerous awards including the 2005 Young Media Artist Prize. She currently works in Arlington, Virginia at the Arlington Arts Center.
